Aaaah, Sin City. What a fucking place. My sisters birthday gift was a girls weekend in Las Vegas! I had never been, so it was quite the experience, where to start...
We stayed at the Luxor. The pyramid shaped, Thebes themed hotel located at the very beginning of the Las Vegas strip right next to Mandalay bay. It was all in all a really nice hotel, except I wouldn't really chose it again, why? Only because It wasn't really "center" strip. Like I said, it's one of the first hotels on the strip, so walking was brutal, even though the walking alone was part of the experience but it got old! Especially when rushing back and fourth to change for shows, dinner or what not, but seriously, that's the only con.
Luxor Hotel
The hotel at night was incredible. The sky beam was mesmerizing! It can literally be seen all the way from Los Angeles, you could read a newspaper 320 feet up in the air with the beam alone. Costs them about 51$ an hour to operate (fun fact for ya)

We had already said we were going to go all Hangover that weekend (were obsessed with the hangover) out flight departed sacramento at 5 in the morning.. You best believe we started pregaming at the airport and on the plane!
Cheers to the freakin weekend bitches
First thing we did once we arrived which was at about 6:30 am, was EAAAAT. Let me tell you the buffets in Vegas are no joke, they're part of the Vegas experience. I ate so much in those three days it seriously wasn't even funny. Oh did I mention the buffet offered UNLIMITED MIMOSAS??!! Hell to the yes.
After about 12 mimosas each, we were full, inebriated and ready to explore! We walked the entire strip up and down and down and up. Let me say, I had in visioned Vegas to be all, glitter and sparkles. Had packed my tightest most Vegas outfits I could find, my sister had warned me that I would regret it and convinced me to at least pack a casual outfit with flats. Thank. God. I listened. The walking, the stairs, the streets, no fucking way I was gonna be able to do half the shit I did in heels. I saved those for clubbing ;) I wore a very comfy chic outfit: black leggings, a long slouchy black top, a coral light but warm coat (yes it was brrr) and my fave nude and metal plated flats.
Let me say, I would def pack differently next time. Make the day all about comfort.

While we explored, we stopped at The Venetian and oh my god, the architecture is Amaze! Literally every hotel took the theme way serious and made each section of the strip to a whole other level making you really feel like you were in that part of the world. Simply incredible. At the Venetian, they had the gondola ride, the gondolier even sang to you in Italian, aye amore! It was awesome.
